I am honoured to announce Hyperrealism Master Artist and IBEX Master ANTONIO CASTELLÓ AVILLEIRA the is set to return to Dublin in 2024 for two amazing workshops. He will share the unique processes he has developed to create his hyperrealism art. You will learn to create a hyperrealism pastel artwork from the printed reference. The reference is provided. Each workshop will have a new original image designed by Antonio for you to work from. Next years image is yet to be decided. I’ll post it here when Antonio has chosen it. DATES: 3 day pastel workshop: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 13th, 14th, 15th September 2024 - full day 10am - 6pm with an hour for a lunch break COST: total €350: €140 deposit to hold your place with the balance of €210 due before August 1st 2023 Materials are not included in the price. For the pastel masterclass you will need the large box of either Caran D’Ache pastel pencils (70 + colours) or Derwents large box of pastel pencils (70+ colours) The course is given in Spanish with an interpreter translating Antonio’s teaching to English. If you need another language get in touch. Side note: I personally travelled to Rome in March 2022 especially to take this course and it was amazing. So I can happily recommend it. Since then I have taken a further 2 masterclasses with Antonio and I credit him and his mentoring with the greatest improvement in my art practice. Let your artist unlock their inner creative in Summer Break 2024 at Art Academy Ireland. Taught by professional artist and NCAD qualified art educator Sheila Flaherty. Over the 5 day Paint A Masterpiece workshop they will explore the world of the incredible:
Angelica Kauffman
They will paint with acrylic paint on canvas and learn about the artist. The work will be inspired by the masterpieces of Angelica Kauffman. Clear a space on the wall to hang their creation. All materials supplied. Just bring a lunch, a drink and a sense of adventure. The artists must wear clothes and shoes that the don’t mind potentially getting art on. Small group, once full waiting list applies.
