Halloween Midterm Art Camp 2025

Paint a Masterpiece Workshop

Dates: Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st October 2025

Time: 10am – 1pm

Age: 8+

This October midterm, let your young artist unlock their creativity at Art Academy Ireland. Over four inspiring days, participants will discover the world of Raphael, the great Italian painter and architect, and create their very own masterpiece on canvas.

Guided by Sheila Flaherty, a professional artist and NCAD-qualified art educator, students will:

• Learn about Raphael’s life and art
• Paint with acrylics on canvas
• Develop confidence in their artistic skills
• Bring home a finished painting ready to display

What’s included:

All materials are provided. Please bring a small lunch, a drink, and only wear clothes/shoes/ bring personal items suitable for painting. 

Group size is limited — once full, a waiting list applies.

About the Tutor

Sheila Flaherty is an internationally exhibiting artist with a strong track record at major galleries including 33 Contemporary Gallery (USA), Modern Eden Gallery (USA), Gallery Stephan Stumpf (Munich), Ateneo de Madrid (Spain), James Baird Gallery (Canada), and Summer & Grace Gallery (Canada).

Her work has also been shown at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona, the WG Gallery Dordrecht (Netherlands), the Mall Galleries with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in London, and the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin.

Awards include:

• Cindy Cottrelle First Place Prize (Canada)
• Almenara Art Prize (Spain)
• FiKVA Award (Belgium)
• TARTGET Promotional Prize (Spain)

Her paintings are held in private collections worldwide.
