13th and 14th of July, 10 am - 5pm each day with a break for lunch.
During this workshop we will cover, transfer of the design to the canvas, setting up your palette, materials to use for best practice, colour mixing with extra care toward creating texture in this case fur, application of paint, edges, value, chroma, light and shade, layering, glazing, brush care and finishing.
Material are not provided. A materials list is provided after checkout.
You will paint from the printed reference. A printed reference photo will be provided.

Leinster Cricket Club is well served by public transport, with Dublin Bus services (14, 15, 15a, 15b, 65, 65b, 83, 83a, 140 and 142) stopping outside the ground and the Ranelagh stop of the Green Luas line only a ten minute walk away.
Sheila Flaherty is a figurative, contemporary, hyperrealist artist. She paints primarily in the medium of oils. She holds a Post Graduation Higher Diploma from NCAD. Her work is exhibited in Dublin, London, LA, Netherlands and Barcelona at the ROI, RHA, Dessel, CIACLA and MEAM.
