Unlock your inner artist at Art Academy Ireland. Over the 4 day hyperrealism oil painting workshop you will learn a layered process oil painting technique that makes your art work look realistic. This workshop is taught by professional artist Sheila Flaherty Sheila is also a trained art teacher holding a PG HDip in Art and Education from the National College of Art and Design. Small group. Get ready to unlock your inner artist with a 2 day / weekend oil painting workshop. All levels are welcome. Those new to oil painting are very much encouraged. Taught by artist Sheila Flaherty.15th and 16th of June, 10 am - 5pm each day with a break for lunch.During this workshop we will cover preparing your canvas for painting, transfer of the design to the canvas, setting up your palette, materials to use for best practice, colour mixing with extra care toward creating texture in this case fur, application of paint, edges, value, chroma, light and shade, layering, glazing, brush care and finishing.Material are not provided.
