A fun art activity you can enjoy at home is casting your hand from alginate. Put a finger down if you have ever had an impression made of your teeth at the dentist? Seaweed based alginate is the product dentists use. You can cast your own hand like you can see in the cover shot or get creative and cast a couple holding hands and experiment with hand poses and gestures. Online art classes are coming soon the Art Academy. As a result of COVID_19 many of us are working from home. Some with children at home too. How are you? I’ve a new painting video on YouTube for you. This painting video is for everyone from as young as 10 to as wise as 110 years old. I will go through everything in real time, that way even if you are a complete beginner it will be easy to follow along. For the more experienced painter I share a few extra tips and tricks for you too.
As always, we will learn about a famous artist, complete some skills and then create our very own masterpiece inspired by their work.
